I can't believe it's already been another year!

LJ loves tractors...so a tractor birthday it was! This was a picture of him from the baby animal fair. It matched the decor. The outdoor cookout and picnic migrated to the playhouse. This is LJ's new little buddy. They are so cute together.
His friend is actually almost a year older..but they play so good together.Jay Jay from Grandma & Grandpa W...We have to watch the video every morning now. He says "I want to watch airpane." Thanks Grandma & Grandpa!Cheese!
And of course a John Deere Electric Tractor!

Thanks Grandma & Grandpa J!He has ridden this every day since. We have to make sure it is charged every night...and the only way to get him off is kicking and screaming.

He usually rides it for 2 hours every day. We have real tractors around our house all the time driving up the road and working in the fields next door and across the street. He thinks he is just one of the farmers.

I looked out my window the other day to find this..I guess since he has mastered the tractor, he now can figure out the four wheeler. He can barely reach the pedal. Does this look funny to anyone else?

Winter Skiing

Wolfe Mountain in UT

H 1's first time for downhill. A big thanks to our friend Cheri who taught H1 everything she knows. I didn't trust myself to go on the lift with H1.But a few quick lessons with Cheri and there was no stopping her. First it was "don't help me daddy."Then it was "Mommy, I can teach you to ski."

I definitely couldn't keep up with the 6 year old doing a wedge straight down the hill. I like doing my nice S curves slow and under control. They were always waiting for me at the bottom. I'm glad Eric has someone who can keep up with him.

H1 also picked up cross-country right away. She could actually keep up. Skiing is not always easy with a 30 lb weight on your back. But H2 and LJ loved it as well. Skiing with Grandma & Granpa @ the Nordic Center.
