The Move

The girls got front row seats to the big move and drove Grandpa crazy singing as loud as they could all the way to the new house. Our cute little farmhouse which is totally remodeled inside. Our lovely shaded backyard, complete with trampoline, sandbox and horsey swing. Thanks to Grandpa Winter and Eric for putting up a nice fence, disassemling and reassembling the tramp, to Grandpa for the new sandbox and horse swing.
The horse swing is so much fun!! It goes really high and around and around in circles. It's one of those things that you always wished you had, but you never did.The best things about living in the country:
Walks with Grandpa.Mountain Views on all sides.Gardening with Grandma Lola.Picnicking @ the lake by our house. It's like a water park but totally free! Playing in Rain Puddles...

Taking a bath in the huge whirlpool tub @ the end of the day.
Not too bad for renting!

Thanks Mom & Dad for all your help moving, packing & unpacking and taking care of kiddos! Exhausting! Let's not do that again for awhile...
Thanks Lola for helping take care of kiddos and for the garden and flowers out front... we had a lot of fun!

Dance Recital

The Ballet Troop Before the Show

Waving goodbye to the crowd.
The girls changed costume and prepared to tap.Not much tapping actually takes place.
Such a cutie!
I love this next picture, because it shows H1 with a real smile and having fun and that's the point of being in dance.
Her favorite part of the show is getting a flower at the end. She talked all day about getting a flower at the end of the show.
During the dance, the teacher stands on the side and the girls can watch her to remember their moves. We sat on the wrong side, so during the first dance, we mainly saw the side of her head because H1 watched her teacher the whole time. (I had moved to get better pics.) So between dances I told H1 to look for Grandma and daddy and smile at them. The result: She actually listened to me and looked for Grandma and daddy, which means she didn't watch her teacher, as you can see in the videos below. Oops! Oh well. It was still cute!
