These Pictures are for my mom who wanted to see what our new trees look like.

That's because when my parents were here in October, my dad spent an entire day moving dirt to help us build mounds for the trees.

(If you notice, there is a four-legged border collie in the bottom of the picture.)

These Pictures were taken in November after our first snow.

Which reminds me of the "Snow Princess"... Also built after the first snow.

She turned out to be quite the phenomenom.

She eventually bent all the way backwards with her head on the ground, making a tunnel and never breaking apart. She must have had amazing abs.

Here she is in the middle of a blizzard. She looks kind of pictureque.

This is a ground blizzard at Sunset. It was really pretty too.

Fast Forward to January, and this is my house with the trees now.

The trees really help the place look more "finished", although it is far from finished.
We still need a yard and a lot more trees.

Here is the house from the back...Those are my ski tracks.
We now have 30 acres of wide open cross-country skiing.

Behind our house is a hill that the kids sled on. On this day the girls and I skied out to the hill.
LJ is in the backpack

And of course we took our new 3-legged dog along.

I have to say that losing a leg has not slowed this border-collie down.
(She ran out in front of the bus.)

Hattie trying out my skis.
